So, what's all this then?
snailsnail.com serves as a repository for the online activities of snailsnail, that is myself, also know variously as Charles McDonald, panic function, lapdogfanatic, treebait consortium, and so on, sometimes even just John.
I am snailsnail, and that's a picture of me, although it's a bit old now and I don't really look like that anymore. I am British, I live in Madrid where I earn my daily bread teaching English, and in my spare time I do a number of things – some of which are presented here.
Among other things I write, both poetry and, less often, prose, I do a little graphic design, a little arty-fartyness, a little video making, animation, music making (rather occasionally) and I engage in various online activity, including a variable amount of blogging.
I use a lot of different tools to do my graphical and video stuff – including most everything Adobe – particularly After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere, the beloved Inkscape, Blender, cinema 4d and so on.
