• the theme here but broadly and mundanely be described as pastoral, obviously. i've been trying for something about love, explicitly and unflinchingly, and in relation to the natural world. because that was the easiest way to tackle, it - it's what poets are supposed to right about you know.
• the images are made with 3dsmax and photoshop. flower photography (you probably can't spot it (environment maps)) included.
• i wanted to make cg pastel flowers pulled out into geometry - this is to reflect that flowers as conceived is really very distant from now, so while flowers*(reconstituted) had real actual pictures of flowers, here the photos are hidden behind renders and raytraces.
